In the afternoon of Feb. 28 (Jan. 10 in Chinese Lunar Calendar), all the staff members from both the East and West Campuses of AFLS gather together in the auditorium at the East Campus for the working conference marking the beginning of a new semester, the spring semester of 2014-15.
As we are still officially in the holiday season of the Chinese Lunar New Year, Principal Huang first of all conveys her best wishes for us and our school in both the New Year and the new semester. She then delivers the speech of The Education with Taste, which is detailed in the following 8 parts: 1) an vision with taste; 2) the education with taste; 3) a teachers’ team with taste; 4) a cadres’ team with taste; 5) classroom with taste; 6) courses with taste; 7) culture with taste; and 8) students with taste.
Concluding her speech with a poem written by one of the students of AFLS, Principal Huang drives it home that at AFLS it’s our aim to build a school with taste and our dream to render the education with taste.
